ABOUT

Semaglutide/Tirzepatide weight loss is believed to work by modifying the way many receptors work within the organs. All of these organs typically respond when we eat. After a meal these receptors are activated and insulin is released. The same receptors activated by food can also be activated by Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. When activated by Semaglutide/Tirzepatide, the process of gastric emptying is delayed. Therefore decreasing appetite and having a sense of feeling “full” (much like after you have a meal). The very same receptors are found in the brain and are activated by Semaglutide/Tirzepatide as well. Your brain now tells you that you are full and thus decreasing feelings of hunger.

The medical weight loss service is a physician guided (in office) weight loss program with initial evaluation for health status, treatment goals, and lifestyle, nutrition, and fitness education in combination with the weekly injection for weight loss, Semaglutide/Tirzepatide.

Your physician follow up will occur monthly in office, where the client will also be able to weigh in, recap the previous week’s diet and exercise regimen, as well as receive feedback to modify behaviors for the upcoming month. The weight loss program is individually tailored for length based on each client’s weight loss or fitness goal, but can range from anywhere between 10 and 68 weeks, depending on when the client attains his or her goal.

Average overall weight loss in the study was 12.4% of total body weight. Range was 6% to over 30%
